Instructions for attaching and removing the wire whip are as follows:

To attach the wire whip:

1. Turn the speed control to OFF.
2. Unplug the Stand Mixer or disconnect the power.
3. Tilt the motor head back.
4. Slip the beater onto the beater shaft and press upward as far as possible.
5. Turn the beater to the right to hook it over the pin on the shaft.
6. Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet.

To remove the wire whip:

1. Turn the speed control to OFF.
2. Unplug the Stand Mixer or disconnect the power.
3. Tilt the motor head back.
4. Press the beater upward as far as possible and turn left.
5. Pull the beater from the beater shaft.

To adjust the beater to bowl clearance:

1. Turn the speed control to OFF.
2. Unplug the Stand Mixer or disconnect the power.
3. Tilt the motor head back.
4. Turn the beater height adjustment screw SLIGHTLY counterclockwise (left) to raise the wire whip or clockwise (right) to lower it.
5. Make adjustments so that the wire whip just clears the surface of the bowl.

Cleaning Tips: The wire whip should be hand washed and dried immediately. Avoid washing it in a dishwasher and do not store the beaters on the shaft.
